Matthew Shefler (General Partner, Investment Manager) is responsible for the Partnership's investment decisions. He has developed a research methodology to evaluate the potential for revaluation of securities that trade at a discount or premium to their Intrinsic Value. Prior to forming the Partnership in 2000, Mr. Shefler held buy-side analyst positions with Mackay-Shields, Neuberger Berman, and Alliance Capital Management. Mr. Shefler began his investment career in 1986 as an analyst for Reliance Insurance Company. Mr. Shefler received a BA from Columbia College.
